Our training center

In the recently completed training center in Banfora, in the south-west of the country, young people in need are trained free of charge by master craftsmen as carpenters and tailors. Further apprenticeships are currently being planned. The apprentices usually receive a 3-year training course, which ends with the state examination (Certificat de Qualification professional).

In Burkina Faso, apprenticeship fees have to be paid for one of the popular professions. Many families in need cannot afford the sometimes very high costs. Thus the future of young people depends on the wealth of their families.

The FANGA center is an educational and meeting place that aims to give young people in need a good start in life. We help to improve the living conditions of young people and to fight poverty and the causes of displacement in one of the poorest countries in the world.
